Welcome to the Thunder in the Valley Fireworks and Festival website. This annual event for residents of Jefferson County and the Upper Ohio Valley is held each year at the Jefferson County Airport on County Road 33, just outside of Wintersville, Ohio. There is no admission charge to the event, which features musical entertainment, food concessions, craft displays, games, and a fireworks display both nights. The Festival Committee works hard each year to provide a venue for you to meet old friends, make new friends, enjoy good food, and have a carefree relaxing evening. So come on out and have a great weekend to celebrate the Independence Day holiday.
